Sew By Day...Crochet By Night...

Morning
Ugh I'm a tired mummy...we skipped Olivia's afternoon nap yesterday and she had an early night, well that was until she was back up again around midnight.  Finally back to sleep in the early hours after we'd done some marching to her nursery rhyme dvd!! Yawn........

My time management at the moment is...sew by day...crochet by night.  I'm trying to get a stock of dolls made up to sell and have quite a few hats to make so its all go.

Meet ''Cherry'' & ''Flora''... aren't they just the sweetest little dollies.

And the Minion hats are proving popular...

I'm hooked....

Good afternoon
Thank you so much for following me, fabulous to see familiar faces and I am very slowly catching up with you all.
In addition to my sewing I've also recently learnt to crochet...I've tried before and failed but was determined it wasn't going to beat me!!
I've gone from the basic flowers and granny squares to taking on the task of some blankets & hats.  I'm working away on quite a large granny stripe blanket....I might have it complete for next winter!!
I found the instructions for over at Attic24...a fabulous blog for loads of crochet ideas.

Olivia and Daddy have also been treated to some new hats...

Right off to go finish a penguin hat.

I've gathered together a ''few'' pics of things I've made over the past months...

The begining...

For those of you that don't know or haven't made the connection I was known as ''Crafty Emma'' in the card making/papercrafting blogging world.  Whilst heavily pregnant with our daughter Olivia I lost all inspiration for paper and I'm not one to sit and do nothing so I started knitting some little things for our new arrival...the knitting turned to sewing and the rest is history.
I've been promoting and selling my makes through Facebook and craft fairs...never expecting things to go as well as they have, I'm delighted and loving what I do.

Olivia is now nearly 15 months old, walking, into everything and developed her own little cheeky personality.  Here she is all wrapped up & enjoying the snow yesterday...
